Our store is based at the 5* Crow Wood Leisure Complex in Burnley - the home of The Woodland Spa, Wilfred's Restuarant & Bar and Crow Wood Equestrian Centre to name a few!  This means, you can book a saddle consultation with us, hire the arena to take your new saddle for a spin, treat your horse to a session on the treadmill and then treat yourself in the spa and round of the day with a meal at one of the restaurants on site!.

Where is your saddle shop located?

The Saddles Direct store is based at the 5* Crow Wood Leisure Complex in Bunrley - the home of The Woodland Spa, Wilfred's Restuarant & Bar and Crow Wood Equestrian centre to name a few!  This means, you can book a saddle consultation with us, hire the arena to take your new saddle for a spin, treat your horse to a session on the treadmill and then treat yourself in the spa and round of the day with a meal at one of the restuarants on site!

Do you sell all types of saddles?

We sell good quality English and Continental saddles depending on their age, sizes and brand.  We are unable to sell Western, racing and Side Saddles.  We are unable to sell saddles with broken trees or any saddles which require repairs.  

What are your opening hours?

Saddles Direct store is open between 10:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Our phone lines are open between 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

We are also open on bank holidays. 

Do you sell used saddles?

Saddles Direct is one of the largest saddle retailer and distributor of used saddles in the UK. We are also the pioneers of the Saddle trial service with over 20 years’ experience in buying, selling and fitting saddles. We offer a huge variety of saddles to suit all shape and size horses from sports horses and thoroughbred’s to native, cobs and wider horses.

Do you sell new saddles?

We are stockists of all the top brands including Albion, Bates, Equipe, Harry Dabbs, Kent and Masters, Fairfax, Arena, Wintec and many more. We offer a huge variety of saddles to suit all shape and size horses from sports horses and thoroughbred’s to native, cobs and wider horses.

Do you buy/part exchange saddles?

Yes, we take quality Saddles of certain brands, sizes and widths.  Please come into the store if you are local or head to our Sell a Saddle (saddlesdirect.co.uk) page for further information.

Do you offer online saddle fitting advice?

Here at Saddles Direct we understand how difficult it may be to find a saddle that fits when it has been purchased online.  That is why we offer a Free Virtual Saddle Consultation with a qualified saddle fitter.

Does the Saddles Direct showroom have all the saddles listed online in stock?

No we definitely do not but we have hundreds of new and used saddles in stock for you to browse such as, Albion Saddles, Bates Saddles, Wintec Saddles, Kent and Masters saddles, Fairfax Saddles, Equipe Saddles, Thorowgood Saddles, Devoucoux Saddles, lots of Dressage Saddles, Show jumping Saddles, GP Saddles  and the list goes on but PLEASE call us on 01282 471911 BEFORE you come over as at least half of our stock can be out with Saddles Direct saddle fitters at any time.

Yes, we do! Saddles Direct is proud to be a people brand hence our strapline “The Saddle People” Our passion is horses, saddles and people so we have a two-story showroom full of beautiful saddles & accessories.  Make an appointment to come and browse, sit in horse riding saddles, and get helpful friendly advice about everything to do with saddles.
