We have since given this saddle a little face lift and enhanced the features for both technicality and looks and re launched in spring 2019. We designed this with comfort and fit being of paramount importance for both horse and rider. We chose a traditional wooden spring tree which offers a higher head and shape throughout, this would be suited to a medium-high withered horse with a rising top line. Also a horse needing more panel support as the full front gussets and drop panel, paired with wool flocked panels make this saddle super supportive for high withers or atrophied withered and backs. This saddle is also deep seated with a narrow twist which is becoming increasingly more favoured by many riders of both gender as they feel closer to the horse and more engaged from the seat allowing them to get more weight down into the lower leg for the elongated, engaged feel.
This used Saddles Direct Victoria dressage saddle is in very good condition with the usual flap wear and surface scratches you would expect to see on a second hand saddle. More wear can be seen to the silver piping near the front of the pommel.
